Very expensive and very bad job.
When I moved to Costa Rica, I had a container shipped. My moving company put me in touch with Winmovers. My container traveled duty-free (retired), but they charged me additional fees and nothing went as planned: there was no way to unload the 40-feet container.
Now I was expecting a large package weighing several hundred kilos and cubic meters (solar panels from China) Winmovers asked me about the road conditions and demanded videos and photos of my access. I provided them, explaining ten times that only a small 4x4 truck could get through (the slope was very steep). They sent a 4x2 truck with just a single, pathetic pallet jack.
Of course, they couldn't get through and had to be towed from the top by a pickup truck, obviously damaging my road in the process. I'm therefore waiting for repairs for this entirely foreseeable damage; I know my house very well and what's the point of asking me for photos and videos if they don't take my opinion into account? These people think they are far superior.
And above all, a very unpleasant experience with [Name removed by Sirelo] who only talks about paying, and [Name removed by Sirelo] who is very pretentious and disagreeable. A company to avoid.Read more
